Meet Rofaydaتعرَّف على رفيدة

Rofayda is a native Arabic speaker from Egypt who lives in Makkah. She is certified in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language through the Career Certification Program (CCTAFL) at the American University in Cairo, and she has been teaching Arabic for more than ten years.رفيدة ناطقة أصلية بالعربية من مصر، وتقيم في مكة المكرمة. حصلت على شهادة تعليم العربية للناطقين بغيرها من برنامج الشهادة المهنية (CCTAFL) في الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، وتُدرِّس العربية منذ أكثر من عشر سنوات.

Her path started in a Cairo center that teaches Arabic only to non-native speakers. Since then she has taught young learners at an international school, tutored online for a school in the Netherlands, and given more than 7,800 lessons to students from over 36 countries.بدأت رحلتها في مركز بالقاهرة متخصص في تعليم العربية لغير الناطقين بها. ثم درّست للأطفال في مدرسة دولية، وقدّمت دروسًا عبر الإنترنت لمدرسة في هولندا، وأعطت أكثر من 7,800 حصة لطلاب من أكثر من 36 دولة.

How are the lessons conducted?كيف تُقدَّم الدروس؟

How does the free trial lesson work?كيف تعمل الحصة التجريبية المجانية؟

Send your request using the form. In the 30-minute lesson you meet Rofayda, talk about your level and goals, and try a short taste of learning together. How quickly can I learn to speak Arabic?ما سرعة تعلُّم التحدث بالعربية؟

It depends on your starting point, your goals and how regularly you practise, so Rofayda cannot promise a fixed timeline. She can give you a clear plan and realistic next steps after the trial lesson.يعتمد ذلك على نقطة بدايتك وأهدافك وانتظامك في التدريب، لذلك لا تَعِد رفيدة بمدة محددة. لكنها تضع لك خطة واضحة وخطوات واقعية بعد الحصة التجريبية.

What is the difference between Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian Arabic?ما الفرق بين الفصحى والعربية المصرية؟

Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) is the formal language of writing, news and speeches, shared across the Arab world. Egyptian Arabic is the spoken dialect of everyday life in Egypt. They share vocabulary and letters but sound different in conversation.الفصحى هي لغة الكتابة والأخبار والخطب، وتُفهم في العالم العربي كله. أما العربية المصرية فهي اللهجة المحكية في الحياة اليومية بمصر. يتشاركان الحروف وكثيرًا من المفردات، لكنهما يختلفان في الحديث.

What we collect: the details you give when you create an account, request a trial or book a lesson (name, email, time zone, language, level and goals), and the messages you send us, your lesson history, and the records our payment provider shares with us (such as payment status). How we use it: to run your account, schedule and deliver lessons, send confirmations and reminders, take payments, answer your questions and meet legal duties. Who receives it: only the services needed to deliver your lessons, such as our payment provider, calendar and email services, and the meeting platform you choose (Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams). Terms & Conditionsالشروط والأحكام

Services: one-to-one online Arabic lessons with Rofayda Badawey. The first lesson is a free 30-minute trial. Prices for further lessons and packages are shown in your account before you pay, in US dollars.الخدمة: دروس عربية فردية عبر الإنترنت مع رفيدة بدوي. الحصة الأولى تجريبية مجانية مدتها 30 دقيقة. تظهر أسعار الحصص والباقات التالية في حسابك قبل الدفع، بالدولار الأمريكي.

Accounts and payment: you are responsible for keeping your login private and for giving correct details. Payment for lessons and packages is made outside the website, for example with PayPal, using the details shown in your account. Your lessons are added after Rofayda confirms the payment. Packages are personal and cannot be transferred or shared.الحسابات والدفع: أنت مسؤول عن سرية بيانات دخولك وعن صحة بياناتك. يتم الدفع مقابل الحصص والباقات خارج الموقع، مثلًا عبر PayPal، وفق التفاصيل الظاهرة في حسابك. تُضاف حصصك بعد أن تؤكد رفيدة استلام المبلغ. الباقات شخصية ولا يجوز نقلها أو مشاركتها.

Booking, cancellation and refunds follow the Booking & Cancellation Policy. The free trial is a 30-minute lesson, available once per student.يخضع الحجز والإلغاء والاسترجاع لسياسة الحجز والإلغاء. الحصة التجريبية المجانية مدتها 30 دقيقة، وتتاح مرة واحدة لكل طالب.

Conduct: please be respectful and on time. Rofayda may end a lesson that involves abusive behaviour. Lessons are not recorded without everyone's consent. Learners under 18 should be booked by a parent or guardian.السلوك: نرجو الاحترام والالتزام بالموعد. يحق لرفيدة إنهاء أي حصة يتخللها سلوك مسيء. لا تُسجَّل الحصص دون موافقة الجميع. على من هم دون 18 عامًا أن يحجزوا عن طريق أحد الوالدين أو الوصي.

Materials shared in lessons are for your own learning and may not be resold or republished. Results depend on each learner's goals and practice, so no outcome is guaranteed.المواد المشاركة في الحصص لاستخدامك التعليمي الشخصي ولا يجوز إعادة بيعها أو نشرها. تعتمد النتائج على أهداف كل متعلم وتدريبه، لذلك لا نضمن نتيجة بعينها.

Booking & Cancellation Policyسياسة الحجز والإلغاء

Cancelling or rescheduling.الإلغاء وتغيير الموعد. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the lesson starts, and the lesson credit is returned. If you book a lesson less than 24 hours before it starts, you can still cancel or reschedule free of charge within 6 hours of booking (and before the lesson starts). After that, changes are not possible and the lesson is counted as taught.يمكنك الإلغاء أو تغيير الموعد مجانًا قبل بدء الحصة بـ24 ساعة على الأقل، ويعود رصيد الحصة. وإذا حجزت حصة قبل موعدها بأقل من 24 ساعة، فيمكنك الإلغاء أو التغيير مجانًا خلال 6 ساعات من الحجز (وقبل بدء الحصة). بعد ذلك لا يمكن التغيير وتُحتسب الحصة كأنها أُعطيت.

Missed or late arrival.الغياب والتأخر. If you do not attend, the lesson is counted. If you arrive late, the lesson ends at the scheduled time. Rofayda will wait 15 minutes before treating a lesson as missed.عند عدم الحضور تُحتسب الحصة. وعند التأخر تنتهي الحصة في موعدها الأصلي. تنتظر رفيدة 15 دقيقة قبل اعتبار الحصة فائتة.

If Rofayda needs to cancel.إذا اضطرت رفيدة للإلغاء. You can choose a new time at no cost or receive your credit back or a refund. Lessons lost to a technical problem on her side are made up in the same way.يمكنك اختيار موعد جديد دون أي تكلفة أو استعادة رصيدك أو استرجاع المبلغ. وتُعوَّض بالطريقة نفسها الحصص التي تضيع بسبب مشكلة تقنية من جهتها.

Packages.الباقات. A 5-lesson package is valid for 3 months and a 10-lesson package for 6 months from the purchase date. Unused lessons expire after that. Each lesson in a package is booked separately.باقة 5 حصص صالحة 3 أشهر وباقة 10 حصص صالحة 6 أشهر من تاريخ الشراء، وتنتهي الحصص غير المستخدمة بعد ذلك. تُحجز كل حصة في الباقة على حدة.

Refunds.الاسترجاع. A single lesson cancelled at least 24 hours ahead is refunded or credited. A package with no lesson taken or booked can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. After lessons have been used, refunds cover only the unused lessons at the package price, within the validity period, minus any non-refundable payment fees. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
